Organic Japanese Hojicha is characterized by its intense woodsy aroma. This premium green tea is light in body with a smooth velvet quality. It remains sweet with subtle notes of almond. Grown organically and made by roasting Bancha, it is a very soothing tea to drink. Hojicha is a popular green tea consumed in Japan and globally.
BREWING GUIDE
Makes 1 cup / 230 ml of tea
1. Bring fresh water to boil and add it into a cup or teapot
2. Add around 1 teaspoon of Hojicha tea leaves to your infuser per cup of tea
3. Let the tea steep for around 30 seconds
4. Hojicha can usually be used for 2 or 3 infusions
Hojicha is generally brewed in a teapot, however it is fine to brew in a cup with an infuser. If you are brewing in a teapot, be sure to add enough tea leaves, on the basis of 1 teaspoon for every cup of tea.
